hey everyone

I am yet again having to ask u to put a bio on your member account when joining the site and you all are still not taking any notice I ask you to do this so that us staff members dont accidently delete legimate accounts

So therefore I am now imposing a new rule sitewide from now on any accounts that I find with no user info in the bio and the other fields such as gender and things like that then that account will be removed on sight and if it continues then the offending users I.P will be banned serverwide

Sorry to the members that have obeyed the site rules but im getting really annoyed about this issue as it is an issue that should not even be happening so the message is clear obey the rules or you will be gone simple as that you all have 24 hours from now to comply with the rules before action is taken on your accounts

as for the staff openings I am looking for an administrator to replace "Fruitcake" who has vanished from the site so as I dont know if they are coming back or not if your given a job and they do come back then we will just have an additional staff member - the more the better I say!

[update to this] I've decided to remove fruitcakes staff status permemently at least for now, if they cant be bothered to drop me a mail to let me know whats going on then why the hell should I bother leaving their staff status on...[I consider this matter closed for now]

I am again having to remind you all that when you join you must put a small bio about yourself in the bio section, leaving everything blank is just gonna get you suspected of being a spammer and deleted

you all have 24 hours to correct your profiles, otherwise your account will be removed

just to make you aware that as I said if I didnt hear from fruitcake that I would remove them as staff well I havant heard anything so  I will be doing that tonight and then I'll be looking for another admin and some other moderators to help me run the site if they do decide to contact me though then they will possibly get their position back

please go to the forums to see what jobs are currently avaliable but please only apply if your reliable as if you turn out not to be then you will be fired!

just a quick reminder yet again that a new rule has been introduced that ALL members must have a bio written in their profile for those that have not already complied with my request I will be sending a server wide email tommorrow to officially remind you all what is required then if you dont choose to comply I will start suspending and banning accounts

 

also untill further notice I'll be running the site and server myself from now on (apart from millzena who will be helping with the validating and other stuff) as I havant heard from "Fruitcake" in a while so if I still dont hear from them then they may be removed as staff at least for now...

I would like to welcome millzena to the fanfictionworld.org staff millzena has kindly agreed to fill the anime/magna validator position so after some training millzena will be looking after the anime/magna section for the site millzena has also been added to the meet the staff page!

I have decided to introduce a new rule to the site which is all users must now fill out a user bio in their profile I've introduced this rule due to the numberous spambots that are around so just go into your edit bio option under account info and write a small bio about yourself it does not have to be big just enough to enable us webmasters i.e me to recognise that your not a bot

thanking all members in advance of your co-operation you'll have a week to do this which is when I'll be contacting those who havant done as requested

you may have also noticed that for some reason that all the users accounts that I removed for non-use have mysteriously reappeared so im thinking that my webhost has been playing with my server without telling me as far as I can tell there are no problems with the site itself so come on use it!

the deleted accounts will be again removed from the server as soon as this webhost issue is cleared up!

the server cleaning of unused accounts is now complete and said accounts have now been removed from the main server - server resources will not be wasted here at fanfictionworld.org... if you want to join us here thats brilliant but please use your account because if you dont then it will be removed - no exceptions will be made to this rule

All offending users accounts have now been removed and I consider this matter closed untill others of you decide not to use your account which is when this action will be repeated...

 Also looks like our lovely forum spammers have reappeared and continue to try to spam the forum... GET THE MESSAGE YOU WILL NOT SUCCEED IN THIS while IM WEBMASTER OF FANFICTIONWORLD.ORG so go get a life

just so that you are aware that I  have started to deleting unused accounts if you were one of the members that recieved a reminder email and you havant done anything about it yet then I suggest you do as soon all unused accounts will be removed from the site, and you cant complain if this happens to you as you had at least 2 email reminders and numerous extensions, to stop your account from being removed simply log in or submit something of course if you find your account deleted then you are free to rejoin the site at anytime all I ask is that you use the account you create
